3rd District Director Joseph Newland was elected in 2011 to represent KFB's 3rd district third district made up of Allen, Bourbon, Cherokee, Crawford, Labette, Linn, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson counties..  The Neodesha farmer and wife Dana farm 2800 acres of wheat, corn, soybeans and hay as well as manage a 300 head cow-calf herd.

Newland served as a county board member, county president, State Resolutions Committee member, AFBF Voting Delegate and on school and bank boards.

The Newland's have four children, Justin, Wade, Tyler and Jackie.
