   Collegiate Farm Bureaus

Purpose:
Kansas Farm Bureau's Collegiate Farm Bureau program offers students the ability to enhance their leadership skills through experiences and opportunities within the Farm Bureau organization to become agricultural leaders.
 
Benefit Opportunities:

* Connection to leaders and mentors in the agriculture industry
* Communications on current issues directly affecting agriculture
* Agriculture advocacy opportunities
* Ag education and promotion activities
* Interaction with local, state and national legislative representation

* Opportunity to work with county Farm Bureau to support programs/activities
* Access to KFB staff speakers for collegiate meetings/events
* Invitation to chapter to attend the KFB (YF&R) Conference
* Opportunity to participate in YF&R contests
* Collegiate Discussion Meet – specifically for Collegiate Farm Bureaus

* Collegiate Discussion Meet, prize money for top 4 placings on state level
