The Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture is proud to lead the End Hunger program, a statewide effort to fight food insecurity and strengthen local communities. Working alongside county Farm Bureau organizations and community partners, we’re ensuring Kansas families have access to nutritious food one meal, one county, one community at a time.

Making a Difference Across Kansas

Since 2020, the End Hunger Campaign has united farmers, businesses and neighbors through fundraising and awareness efforts to support those in need. All of the campaign proceeds are invested back into communities through our End Hunger Grant Program.

Here’s how the End Hunger Program is making an impact:

  • Ellis County Farm Bureau partnered with local schools to stock weekend backpacks with nutritious, Kansas-grown food for students in need.
  • Harper County Farm Bureau collaborated with a community garden project to expand access to fresh produce for local food pantries.
  • Douglas County Farm Bureau helped fund a new refrigerator and freezer for a rural food pantry, allowing it to safely store perishable items.
  • Cowley County Farm Bureau supported community meals that bring neighbors together while providing food assistance to families facing hardship.

Discover how these programs are making a difference in Kansas Farm Bureau’s membership magazine, Kansas Living.
