Grant Applications
What kinds of
projects are funded?
KFB Foundation for Agriculture
grants for 2008 will be considered for the following programs:
1) Agriculture educational programs
for key segments of the urban, suburban and rural population, e.g.,
children, adults, teachers and retirees to improve their perceptions
and increase their understanding of agriculture and its importance
in their lives and to our economy
2) Agriculture educational programs
for key segments of the urban, suburban and rural population, e.g.,
youth and adults to improve their leadership skills and involvement
in leadership to benefit agriculture and rural communities
3) Scholarships for agriculture
education and leadership development programs.
What types of requests are ineligible?

Administrative or overhead costs

Events that
will take place prior to approval of a grant

Projects or
programs that do not advance the KFB Foundation for
Agriculture’s goals

Applicants that
have applied for 1st half grants will
be notified by January 31, 2009.
Funds will be distributed upon completion of the granted purpose
once a
“2009 Grant Activity Report” is completed and returned to
the KFB Foundation for Agriculture no later than
December 1, 2009.
