2008 KFB Foundation for Agriculture Fellowship Programs

The application deadline for the 2008 KFB Foundation for Agriculture Legislative and Congressional Fellowship Programs is December 21, 2007.

The 2008 Congressional Fellowship will provide two selected applicants with the opportunity to spend two weeks in Washington, D.C. to work with staff members of Senator Pat Roberts and Representative Jerry Moran.

A Legislative Fellowship is also available for one selected applicant to spend a week in Topeka with Governmental Relations staff visiting executive, judicial and legislative offices and other state government agencies.

Both programs have been established to provide participants a better understanding of how policy affecting agriculture and the state of Kansas is formulated, and to gain an up-close view of the day-to-day duties of congressional staff and legislative leaders. Each fellowship also includes a stipend to offset out-of-pocket expenses.
