KFB Foundation for
Agriculture Scholarships
The Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for
Agriculture supports education in the state of Kansas through
scholarships.
2012-2013 KFB Foundation Scholarship Program at KSU & FHSU
Four Scholarships at Kansas State
University--$1000 each.
Two Scholarships at Fort Hays State
University--$1000 each.
Eligibility
Student or parents must be a Farm
Bureau member in Kansas.
Student must be enrolled in
Agriculture or closely related area of study.
Student must be classified as a junior
or senior at the University in the fall.
When applying, indicate your
preferences for Kansas Farm Bureau Scholarships. Indicating such a
preference will not disqualify an applicant for consideration for
other available scholarships.

Kansas Farm Bureau Collegiate Scholarship
Twenty Two (22)
$500 scholarships available for the 2012-2013 academic school year.
SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
* Student must be a Farm
Bureau Collegiate member (Selection preference given to students
whose parents are Farm Bureau members.)

Student must be enrolled in the 2012 fall semester at a Kansas
college with a recognized Farm Bureau Collegiate Chapter
*
Student must be majoring
in an agricultural or related field of study

2012-2013 Vo-Tech
Scholarships
The KFB board of
directors approved a new scholarship program for students
attending vo-tech schools. Eight $500 scholarships will be
available each year to eligible students who are either entering
or in a qualified Vo-Tech program.
Application must be completed

Kansas State University
ELIGIBILITY
* Applicants
must be classified as a senior in the fall of 2012 at Ellsworth High
School
* Applicants
must be planning to enroll in the College of Agriculture at Kansas
State University and to major in an agriculture-related field of
study
* Applicants
must complete a scholarship application for the forthcoming school
year

A
gift has been made by the friends and family of Lester Crandall to
the Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation to establish this scholarship at
Kansas State University. Its purpose is to honor the late Lester
Crandall by providing financial assistance to students graduating
from Ellsworth High School in Ellsworth, Kansas and enrolling in the
College of Agriculture with a major in an agriculture-related field
of study.

A gift was made by the Ahlerich
family to the Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture to
establish this scholarship at Kansas State University. Its purpose
is to honor the late Dewitt Ahlerich and provide financial
assistance to students enrolled in the College of Agriculture and
majoring in agricultural economics.

Funding
The Kansas
Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture received a gift from Emma
Bahr Miller to honor her husband the late Godfrey Miller by
establishing these scholarships. As a farmer he understood the
role of farmers and ranchers in caring for the land they work
and manage. The scholarships are for college juniors or seniors
whose area of study includes an emphasis on understanding and
improving environmentally friendly processes in agriculture.
