Financial Services offers animal mortality coverage for 4-H and FFA members
aimed at helping them protect their short-term livestock investments. Animal
mortality coverage insures beef and dairy animals, hogs, lambs and goats
valued at $2,500 or less and at least 30 days old. This specialized coverage
can help protect their investment by insuring each animal for its cost or
value in the event of an unexpected or untimely death. The
coverage (written on an annual basis) is offered at $11 per $100 of the
