The search is on for a new leader

Agriculture
at
KSU
and
a
farmer
from
north-central
Kansas
will
help
lead
the
process

Bureau
president
Steve
Baccus,
a
grain
farmer
from
Ottawa
County
is
serving
on
the
search
committee
to
find
the
next
Dean
of
the
Kansas
State
University
College
of
Agriculture
and
Director
of
Research
&
Extension. |

who fills this
role will play a
key role in
helping
determine the
future success
of agriculture
and our rural
way of life in
Kansas,” said
Baccus. “I’m
honored to
represent family
farmers and
ranchers on this
search
committee.” The
position of Dean
of the Kansas
State University
College of
Agriculture and
Director of
Research &
Extension became
available when
Dr. Fred Cholick
recently
accepted the
presidency of
the Kansas State
University
Foundation.
The initial
screening of
candidates will
begin this
summer and
continue until
the position is
filled.
