Powers, 73,
R-Mulvane, died last
night at a Wichita
hospital after
suffering a stroke
Monday night at his
home.
Powers, a seven-term
representative, had
already filed for
reelection to the
81st House District
for an eighth term.
He is survived by
his widow, Betty
Mae Powers, and
three children. |
