In Stafford and Edwards Counties
-
Farm Bureaus in these hard hit
counties are cooperating with
the Red Cross, and Stafford and
Edwards County Emergency
Preparedness to organize work
crews for damage cleanup.
Volunteers are desperately
needed. The main contact
numbers are 620-546-6304
or
620-797-0337 for
Stafford and Edwards County. An
additional number is
620-659-2188.
Also, in these particular areas,
if you have not had a tetanus
shot in the last eight years,
you can identify the need when
you call, and the Red Cross when
possible will
come to the field you are
working in and administer one.
In Barton County:
The county Farm Bureau, in
conjunction with Barton County
Emergency Preparedness is
organizing work site locations
and other relief efforts. You
can call the Barton Co. Farm
Bureau at
620-792-2236 (If no
answer, please leave a message,
it will be checked frequently)
whether you need help, or want
to help.
In addition, KFB’s District
Administrators in the affected
areas can serve as excellent
resources to match up groups and
individuals wishing to volunteer
their time and energy for
farmers and ranchers in need of
cleanup help.
