This sale is a great opportunity for both buyers and sellers of age and source verified cattle.  Buyers will be pleased to know that not only are the cattle age and source verified but they have also followed a specific health and vaccination schedule to better ensure that they’ll hit the ground gaining (vaccination requirements can be found here.  Sellers will appreciate working with an auction focused on attracting buyers and feeders that are willing to pay for value-added cattle.

The time to act is NOW because it is important to have plenty of time to review and take the needed steps to comply with the health and vaccination schedule, and enroll your cattle in the AgInfoLink Process Verified Program.  We ask that you contact us as soon as you can to age and source verify your calves through Beef Verification Solution and definitely no later than September 15, 2010.  This will give us an opportunity to process all enrollments before the consignment deadline of October 1, 2010.  Additionally please contact Dan Harris of Holton Livestock Exchange to consign your calves or with any questions regarding sale information or vaccination requirements.
