Director's Report - February 2016

KFB Leaders have generously provided funding for Kansas Farm Bureau's Foundation for Ag Leaders Circle. As a result of those contributions we are able to grow the leadership development pillar of the foundation.

In 2013, a new fund benefitting the foundation was created. Thanks to the foresight, leadership and generosity of former Kansas Farm Bureau President Doyle Rahjes and his wife Charlotte, the Leaders Circle fund was established.

The fund assists in the development of programs and endeavors that encourage leadership development, creative communication, agriculture education and outreach to an increasing non-farm culture.

The Leaders Circle fund also assists in the development of programs and endeavors that encourage leadership development with our KFB membership across the state.

Prior to our annual dinner in December, the Rahjes family was honored with the Leaders Circle of the Year award. Past recipients include Edie Dahlsten and Jerry McReynolds.
