Kansas Farm Bureau's 98th Annual Meeting

Kansas Farm Bureau's 98th Annual Meeting KFB Annual Meeting 2016 Full Program

President's Welcome

Welcome to the 98th Kansas Farm Bureau annual meeting. It is a pleasure to have you in Manhattan.

This year has been one for the record books. Many of us were blessed with bin-busting harvests. On the flip side, net farm income is the lowest it’s been in 30 years. Times aren’t easy in farm country, but you’ve made the commitment to be here.

You have made the commitment to spend time away from your operation and to gather with your neighbors as we hear from experts and learn from each other.

You have made the commitment to sift through our grassroots policy and once again polish it before it’s taken to our state legislature and our representatives in Washington, D.C.

You have made the commitment to your family, your farm organization and your industry.

Your commitment speaks volumes.

Your commitment ensures Kansas Farm Bureau remains the Voice of Agriculture.

Like you, we’re committed to that vision; doing the good work to ensure Kansas farmers and ranchers have a voice that is heard and respected from the nation’s capital to the consumer and everyone in between.

Thank you for joining us and for your commitment to the Voice of Agriculture.
