KFB statement on hiring of Chief Engineer

MANHATTAN — The following statement on the Kansas Department of Agriculture selecting Earl Lewis as Chief Engineer for the agency’s Division of Water Resources is attributable to Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felts:
“On behalf of Kansas Farm Bureau, I’d like to offer our sincere congratulations to new Chief Engineer Earl Lewis. Earl has decades of experience in the water issues affecting agriculture and all of Kansas. We’re confident in his support for appropriate development and enforcement of Kansas water law, and we look forward to working with him.”
