The following statement regarding the announcement of Kansas 2018 general election results can be attributed to Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felts:

“The state’s largest farm organization, Kansas Farm Bureau, congratulates the winners of the 2018 midterm elections. Our grassroots membership in all 105 counties looks forward to working with newly elected and reelected officials for the betterment of our state and rural Kansas.

“Kansas Farm Bureau’s Voters Organized to Elect Farm Bureau Friends (VOTE FBF) Political Action Committee (PAC) saw an 89 percent success rate in its endorsements. Since 1993, VOTE FBF has endorsed and supported candidates for public office who support family farming and ranching.

“There is no other organization in the state who fights harder for Kansas farm and ranch families and rural Kansas. With agriculture being the state’s number one economic driver, we look forward to working with our elected officials to ensure agricultural policy continues to be a focus and our citizens prosper.”
