MANHATTAN — The following statement regarding the announcement of Kansas’ 2020 primary election results can be attributed to Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felts:

“The state’s largest farm organization, Kansas Farm Bureau, congratulates the winners of the 2020 primary elections including endorsed candidates in federal races Roger Marshall, U.S. Senate; Tracey Mann, KS-1; and Jake LaTurner, KS-2.

“Kansas Farm Bureau’s Voters Organized to Elect Farm Bureau Friends (VOTE FBF) Political Action Committee (PAC) saw a 100 percent success rate in its primary endorsements for U.S. Senate and U.S. House races. Since 1993, VOTE FBF has endorsed and supported candidates for public office who support family farming and ranching.

“Tuesday’s results prove VOTE FBF’s grassroots-process is representative of Kansans’ views well beyond the gates of farms and ranches.

“There is no other organization in the state who fights harder for Kansas farm and ranch families and rural Kansas. With agriculture being the state’s No. 1 economic driver, we look forward to working to continue this success in November’s general election.”

Kansas Farm Bureau's mission is to strengthen agriculture and the lives of Kansans through advocacy, education and service.
