MANHATTAN -- The following statement regarding the announcement of 2020 general election results can be attributed to Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felts:

“The state’s largest farm organization, Kansas Farm Bureau, congratulates the winners of the 2020 elections. Our grassroots membership in all 105 counties looks forward to working with newly elected and reelected officials for the betterment of our state and rural Kansas.

“Kansas Farm Bureau’s Voters Organized to Elect Farm Bureau Friends (VOTE FBF), KFB’s political action committee since 1993, has endorsed and supported candidates for public office who support family farming and ranching. In 2020, every VOTE FBF candidate in federal races was victorious.

“In addition to Reps. Ron Estes and Sharice Davids winning reelection, we look forward to working with our Kansas delegation including Senator-elect Dr. Roger Marshall, in addition to congressmen-elect Tracey Mann (KS-1) and Jake LaTurner (KS-2).

“We know this federal delegation will seek leadership roles to ensure Kansas and agriculture has a voice in Washington, D.C. on topics like expanding broadband, trade, taxes and burdensome regulations.

“There is no other organization in the state who fights harder for Kansas farm and ranch families and rural Kansas. With agriculture being the state’s number-one economic driver, we look forward to working with our elected officials to ensure agricultural policy continues to be a focus and our citizens prosper.”
