VOTE FBF endorses Rep. Yoder

Kansas Farm Bureau’s VOTE FBF endorses 3rd District Congressman Kevin Yoder

The Kansas Farm Bureau VOTE FBF (Voters Organized To Elect Farm Bureau Friends) has announced its endorsement of Kansas Congressman Kevin Yoder.

Yoder, a 5th generation Kansan, grew up on a grain and livestock farm near the rural central Kansas town of Yoder. VOTE FBF arrived at its endorsement decision through recommendations provided by the 3rd Congressional district county Farm Bureaus in Kansas.

Kansas Farm Bureau President Rich Felts says that Yoder’s understanding of agriculture has made him a valued member of the Kansas delegation since his arrival in Congress in 2011.

“While Kevin represents very urban areas as well as rural ones, he knows the true value of agriculture to the Kansas and national economy and the rural spirit of farmers and ranchers,” Felts said.  “His common-sense actions on issues like the budget, truck length regulations, trade, the lesser prairie chicken listing and the farm bill, are just a few of the reasons our members are pleased to support his reelection effort.”

Felts said Yoder is a perfect example of a Congressman, who representing both rural and urban constituents, understands how all Kansans make the state a special place.

Kansas Farm Bureau’s VOTE FBF was created in 1993 as a grassroots-based effort to help elect friends of agriculture. In its history it has amassed a more than 90 percent success rate in endorsing successful candidates.
