FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Manhattan - Kansas Farm Bureau’s VOTE FBF (Voters Organized To Elect Farm Bureau Friends) declared its endorsement of Sen. Jerry Moran today. The announcement was made at the ”Moran for Kansas Farm and Ranch Team” barbeque at the Great Bend Farm and Ranch Expo.
KFB President Rich Felts said the organization’s members provided grass roots recommendations to support Moran.
“Members in county Farm Bureaus across the state enthusiastically recommended the endorsement of Jerry Moran for a second term in the United States Senate,” Felts said. “Senator Moran has been a steadfast supporter of Kansas agriculture and our rural way of life. Jerry helped ensure that farm kids can continue to work alongside their parents. He supported crop insurance when agriculture needed it most and has supported rural Kansas at every turn. He pushed back against federal government bureaucrats who tried to regulate farm ditches and dictate how landowners protect threatened or endangered species.”
“We look forward to working with Senator Moran as he continues to champion Kansas values in the United States Senate.”
Kansas Farm Bureau’s VOTE FBF fund was established in 1993 and has a more than 90 percent success rate for endorsed candidates.
