Fill a Ford, Feed a Family

According to Feeding America, one in eight people in Kansas, or approximately 375,360 of the people in our communities, struggle with food insecurity, meaning they don't know where their next meal come from. In agriculture, we take pride in our noble profession of feeding the world. While we're growing the best crops and raising the best livestock we can, let's also take care of our neighbors and make sure they have access to food they need. The Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee will be collecting non-perishable food items at the KFB Annual Meeting to donate to families in need across the state this winter.

How to Help

1. Bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations to the KFB Annual Meeting. Food should be unopened and not expired.

2. Deposit your donation in the Ford vehicle marked with "Fill a Ford" signage at the meeting any time on Monday, December 3.

3. The YF&R Committee will connect donations with food distribution organizations around the state to ensure it reaches Kansans in need in all types of communities.

Thanks for helping us "Fill a Ford" and making a difference in our communities this winter!
