Help "Fill a Ford" at the KFB Annual Meeting
Those in our communities who struggle to afford the food necessary to provide for their families often need basic hygiene products, too. Access to these items can sometimes be the difference between unemployment and a steady job or a kid being able to make friends instead of playing alone at recess. Even food pantries that receive sufficient food donations can have a hard time keeping hygiene products in stock. The Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee hopes to help several Kansas communities fulfill this need for the winter by hosting a drive for hygiene products at the 2016 Kansas Farm Bureau Annual Meeting.
How to Help
1. Bring one or more of the following items to the KFB Annual Meeting. Items should be new and unopened.
- Hand Soap
- Body Soap
- Razors/Shaving Cream
- Toilet Paper
- Feminine Hygiene Products
- Baby Wipes
- Laundry Detergent
2. Deposit your donation in the Ford vehicle marked with "Fill a Ford" signage at the meeting any time on Monday, December 5.
The YF&R Committee will donate collected items to the Kansas Food Bank's Mobile Hygiene Pantry. Thanks for helping us "Fill a Ford" and making a difference in our communities this winter!
