The first week of February will be an exciting time for Kansas Farm Bureau. Members and leaders are invited to join us for one, two or all three of the exciting and meaningful state-wide events planned.
February 4-5, 2020 KSU Alumni Center 1720 Anderson Ave, Manhattan | County Farm Bureau Presidents will enjoy networking with their peers from across the state, engage in training specific to their role as the leader of their county association and get the latest information about important agriculture and organizational issues. | This event is open to current County Presidents and free to attend.
February 6, 2020 Capitol Plaza Hotel 1717 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka | Calling all members interested in policy! This event provides an opportunity for members to learn about current legislative issues and advocate policy with lawmakers. Whether you’ve never been to the Capitol or you’re an experienced advocate, if you’re interested in how Farm Bureau impacts the decisions made in Topeka this event is for you. | This event is open to all Kansas Farm Bureau members and costs $35. Register by January 3.
February 7-9, 2020 Hilton Garden Inn & Conference Center 410 S 3rd Street, Manhattan | Join more than 500 young men and women from across the state as we focus on connecting you with practical tools and resources to add value to your daily work, expanding your peer and professional network and providing encouragement and motivation to keep pushing forward in a tough time for agriculture. Regardless of the crops you grow, animals you raise or off-farm role you play, this conference has something for all young people connected to agriculture and will empower attendees to return home with the tools and knowledge to make positive changes for their farms, families and communities. | This event is open to anyone who finds the content relevant, regardless of age or membership status. Regular registration is $100, with a late fee for adult attendees after January 10. A $60 Saturday day pass is available for high school FFA or 4-H members interested in ag careers.
