Overview:
The KFB Ag Education Department is excited to offer the Ag Literacy Leaders Program. A part of the KFB Train the Trainer Series, a dynamic workshop designed for high school students eager to share their passion for agriculture with younger generations.

Workshop Details:
- Duration: 2-hour session
- Format: Interactive and hands-on
Workshop Topics:
- Importance of Ag Education: Discover why teaching youth about agriculture is vital for our future.
- Event Planning: Learn how to organize engaging ag education events for kids.
- Resourceful Lesson Ideas: Find inspiration and resources for age-appropriate lessons.
- Presentation Skills: Develop effective communication techniques to captivate young audiences.
- Hands-On Activities: Experience practical lesson examples that can be implemented immediately.
Funding Opportunity:
Upon completing the workshop, participants are eligible to apply for a $300 reimbursement grant for their school, club, or organization. This grant can be used to purchase supplies for youth ag education lessons and does not require a matching contribution. KFB County Coordinators must apply for the grant on behalf of the school, club or organization. The grant application is available on the County Intranet.
