Mission of the Committee
The Kansas Farm Bureau Women's Leadership Committee contributes an essential perspective to the organization, broadening opportunities for women to become increasingly involved in all aspects of Farm Bureau, actively participating in the implementation of priority issues involving agriculture education, improving the quality of life in rural communities, promotion of the industry and agricultural advocacy.

Description: Shannon Martin, Assistant Director of Foundation and Ag Education, will walk you through how to find sponsors for events, who you can team up with to host events and explain how the foundation is available to support your county. Meagan Cramer, Director of Communications and Marketing will guide you through how KFB’s Communications Team can assist your county in event promotion and how to get your event advertised in all the right spots. Janae McKinney, YF&R and Collegiate Programs Manager, will make sure you’re prepared to manage your event when the time comes and be ready for whatever may come your way the day of.

Get Involved
Members of the State Women’s Leadership Committee are elected by the Voting Delegates at the Annual Meeting. The State Chair for a term of two years and one District Chair from each district are elected from odd numbered districts in even-numbers years and even numbered districts in odd numbered years. If you are interested in the Women's Leadership Committee, the best way to start is to get involved in your county Farm Bureau committee. Contact your county coordinator for information.
