Garden in a Glove

Plants provide food, fiber, oxygen and much more to animals and humans. They are an important part of our livelihood and well-being. Although plants may take on complex life cycles and structures, the germination, or sprouting, process can be simple enough to demonstrate in the classroom. This activity will allow the observation of the germination process, and provide a good view of the plant’s root system.
