The Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture was formed in 1998 and since its inception, the foundation has awarded hundreds of thousands of dollars to provide scholarships and grants which fund programs and projects designed to help improve agriculture and the quality of life in rural Kansas. The three areas of emphasis and action are:
A sincere thanks to everyone who generously supports the Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture and the positive impact they enable the foundation to have on people working in agriculture and living in rural Kansas. The variety of financial supporters enables the foundation to provide scholarships and grants to further the mission of supporting and enhancing agriculture and the farm and ranch families of Kansas.
This annual tournament helps the KFB Foundations provide funding for programs aimed at improving the quality of life in Kansas through agriculture education, leadership development and legal advocacy.
The KFB Foundations and Kansas State University will partner for the “Celebrate Agriculture Fundraising Golf Tournament”, Friday, August 31 at Colbert Hills.
Janae Schulte is the 2017/2018 Lester Crandall Memorial Scholarship winner.
The Kansas Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture and Kansas Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom are announcing the 2018 Excellence in Teaching regional award winners. This award is given to exemplary teachers who integrate agriculture into their classroom.
The Kansas Farm Bureau Gifts of Grain program is a great way for farmers and ranchers to support the KFB Foundations by donating a portion of grain right at the elevator.
